Last Updated: June 2026
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before making any booking or purchase with Anchoring the Light. By completing a booking, enrolling in a programme, or purchasing any product, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these terms in full.
---
1. PERU PILGRIMAGES
1.1 Securing Your Booking
Your place on a Peru Pilgrimage is secured only upon receipt of your non-refundable deposit of USD $1,000 and your written acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
Bookings made by email or through our website are deemed to confirm your acceptance of these terms. To complete your booking, please email us at awaken@anchoringthelight.com.
1.2 Payment Schedule
Full payment is required before departure, in accordance with the payment schedule outlined in your booking confirmation. Payments are typically structured as follows:
• Deposit: USD $1,000 due at time of booking (non-refundable, non-transferable)
• Second Payment: Outlined in your booking confirmation, due by the stated date via bank transfer
• Final Payment: Paid in USD cash upon arrival at the retreat centre on the first day of the pilgrimage. This payment is non-refundable.
The final payment may alternatively be made prior to departure via bank transfer or credit card, subject to the following surcharges:
• ACH bank transfer to USD account: 5% surcharge (covers processing, transactional, and conversion costs)
• Wire transfer to USD account: 5% surcharge + a flat USD $6.11 wire transfer fee
• Bank transfer to AUD account: 8% surcharge (covers processing, transactional, and conversion costs)
• Credit card: 13% surcharge (covers processing, transactional, and conversion costs)
Note: All fees are the responsibility of the participant. Anchoring the Light is not responsible for transfer delays, banking errors, or any shortfall received due to currency fluctuations or bank charges. Participants must ensure the full invoiced amount is received by us and must cover any difference where a converted or transferred amount falls short.
1.3 Accepted Payment Methods
We accept bank transfer and credit card payments (subject to additional fees as outlined above). We do not accept PayPal. Zelle is not available for international payments and cannot be accepted.
1.4 Cancellation by Participant
All cancellations must be submitted in writing by email to awaken@anchoringthelight.com. Cancellations are effective from the date your written notice is received by Anchoring the Light.
The deposit of USD $1,000 is non-refundable and non-transferable under all circumstances. Any payments made toward flights, Machu Picchu, or other third-party bookings are non-refundable due to the policies of those providers.
Cancellation fees are calculated as a percentage of the total pilgrimage price as follows:
60 or more days prior to departure: 50% of total pilgrimage price is forfeited
59–30 days prior to departure: 70% of total pilgrimage price is forfeited
Less than 30 days prior to departure: 100% of total pilgrimage price is forfeited — no refund
These terms are firm and no exceptions will be made, including for personal emergencies, illness, injury, or other circumstances within or outside your control. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking.
1.5 Rooming & Accommodation Policy
Shared accommodation is arranged by our team. Rooming is allocated at our discretion and in accordance with the following policy:
• Default rooming: Participants are placed in same-gender shared rooms (doubles or triples) unless a private single room is requested and purchased.
• Shared rooms for partners, couples, or friends: We understand that you may wish to room with a travel companion. Shared room requests are welcome and will be accommodated where possible. All such requests must be made in writing prior to booking confirmation and are subject to availability and our team's discretion.
• Single supplement: If we are unable to provide a compatible shared room for a participant, we reserve the right to require the purchase of a single room supplement. We will communicate this as early as possible and the additional cost will be clearly outlined before it is charged.
• Right to decline a booking: If suitable accommodation cannot be arranged and no single room is available or the supplement is not accepted, Anchoring the Light reserves the right to decline or cancel the booking. In such cases, all payments made beyond the non-refundable deposit will be refunded.
We encourage you to reach out to us at awaken@anchoringthelight.com before booking if you have any questions or specific accommodation requirements.
1.6 Minimum Participant Numbers
Our Peru Pilgrimages are deeply held journeys, and it is our full intention to run every pilgrimage we open. We commit to doing everything within our power to ensure each journey proceeds as planned.
In the rare and exceptional circumstance that a pilgrimage must be cancelled by Anchoring the Light — whether due to insufficient numbers, force majeure, or reasons beyond our control — the following applies:
• All payments made, including the deposit, will be transferred in full to a future pilgrimage or offering of equivalent value
• If you are unable to attend the rescheduled journey, a refund of payments made beyond the deposit will be considered at our discretion
• Anchoring the Light is not responsible for any independently incurred costs such as flights, visas, or travel insurance
1.7 Changes by Anchoring the Light
We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the pilgrimage itinerary, schedule, facilitators, or activities when necessary due to safety, weather, availability, or other circumstances. We will communicate any significant changes as early as possible.
Anchoring the Light is not responsible for any costs incurred independently, including flights, visas, travel insurance, or personal expenses.

2. GLOBAL RETREATS & IMMERSIONS
This section applies to all in-person retreat and immersion experiences offered by Anchoring the Light outside of Peru.
2.1 Securing Your Booking
Your place at a retreat is secured when you either pay in full or begin a payment plan, together with your written acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
A non-refundable deposit is required to hold your place. Deposit amounts by currency:
• AUD $700 — Australian retreats
• GBP £700 — United Kingdom retreats
• EUR €700 — European retreats
• USD $700 — All other international retreats
The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable under all circumstances. It is used immediately upon booking to cover retreat costs and to hold your place.
2.2 Payment Options
Full payment is due prior to the retreat commencement date. Anchoring the Light offers the following payment options:
• Pay in Full: Via bank transfer or Wise in the local currency of the retreat (USD, EUR, or GBP accepted via Wise). Paying in the correct local currency avoids additional conversion fees for both parties. No surcharge applies for pay in full.
Note: Wire transfers to our USD account incur an additional flat fee of USD $6.11. ACH transfers to our USD account do not incur this fee.
• Payment Plan: Available in instalments agreed upon at the time of booking. A 10% surcharge is added to the total price when a payment plan is selected. Payment plans are structured to be completed by or around the retreat date.
All bank transfer and currency conversion fees are the responsibility of the participant.
Important: If you are on a payment plan, your instalments may not yet cover the full deposit amount at the time of cancellation. The full deposit remains non-refundable regardless of how much has been paid. If your payments to date are less than the deposit amount, the remaining balance is still owed to Anchoring the Light.
2.3 Cancellation by Participant
All cancellations must be submitted in writing by email to awaken@anchoringthelight.com. Cancellations are effective from the date your written notice is received.
The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable in all circumstances. Beyond the deposit, the following applies:
More than 2 months (60+ days) prior: Deposit forfeited. Remaining balance paid may be applied toward any other Anchoring the Light offering, retreat, or training.
2 months or less (0–60 days) prior: 100% of the total retreat price is owed. Any refunds beyond the deposit are at the sole discretion of Anchoring the Light.
Exceptions will only be considered in the case of serious illness or the death of a close family member, and are at the discretion of Anchoring the Light. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance at the time of booking.
Please understand that once you book, we budget and plan for you. Our retreat costs are significant, and these policies allow us to continue showing up in full service to all of our participants. We trust and thank you for your understanding.
2.4 Booking Transfers
If you are unable to attend, a transfer of your place to another person may be requested. All transfer requests must be submitted in writing to awaken@anchoringthelight.com and are subject to approval at our sole discretion.
Please note: A booking transfer does not entitle the original participant to any refund. All amounts paid and the cancellation terms above remain in place. The incoming participant steps into the existing booking and must accept these Terms & Conditions in full.
2.5 Rooming & Accommodation Policy
Where accommodation is included as part of the retreat package, the following applies:
• Default rooming: Participants may be placed in shared rooms. Rooming assignments are at the discretion of Anchoring the Light.
• Single room requests: Single room upgrades are subject to availability and an additional supplement charge.
• Shared rooms for partners, couples, or friends: Requests to share a room with a specific person are welcome and will be accommodated where possible. All requests must be made in writing prior to booking confirmation.
• Co-ed rooming: Shared rooms are not provided on a co-ed basis as standard. If we are unable to arrange a compatible shared room for a participant, we reserve the right to require the purchase of a single room supplement. If no suitable room can be arranged and the supplement is not accepted, Anchoring the Light reserves the right to decline or cancel the booking, with a refund of all payments beyond the deposit.
2.6 Minimum Participant Numbers
Retreats are subject to minimum participant numbers to proceed.
If the retreat does not reach minimum numbers: Anchoring the Light reserves the right to cancel. In this case, participants will be offered a full refund of all payments made, including the deposit — or may choose to transfer their balance to a future Anchoring the Light offering. As a gesture of goodwill, a 20% discount on a future offering may also be offered.
Note: The 20% goodwill discount is subject to confirmation and availability. Anchoring the Light is not responsible for any independently incurred costs such as travel, accommodation, or personal expenses.
2.7 Changes or Cancellation by Anchoring the Light
We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the retreat programme, schedule, facilitators, or venue when necessary. We will communicate any significant changes as early as possible.
If Anchoring the Light cancels a retreat for reasons within our control, participants will be offered a full refund of all payments made, including the deposit, or the option to transfer their balance to a future offering.
If cancellation is due to circumstances outside our control (including but not limited to force majeure, natural disaster, pandemic, or political conditions), payments will be transferred to a future event. Anchoring the Light is not responsible for any independently incurred costs.

This section applies to all digital offerings from Anchoring the Light, including the School of Remembering programmes, the Wilka Suyu Shamanic Cacao Apprenticeship, self-paced courses, live online containers, workshops, masterclasses, digital downloads, and any other digital content.
3.1 All Sales Are Final
All purchases of digital products and online programmes are final sale. No refunds are offered under any circumstances, including but not limited to:

3.2 Payment Plans & Financial Commitment
By enrolling in an online programme via a payment plan, you confirm that you have considered your personal and financial circumstances and are able to meet the full financial commitment you are entering into.
Your enrolment in a payment plan represents a commitment to pay the agreed total amount in full. Payment plan instalments and deposits are non-refundable. Cancellation of a payment plan is not permitted — the full remaining balance continues to be owed regardless of whether you choose to continue participating in the programme.
Exceptions to this policy are considered only at the sole discretion of Anchoring the Light in genuinely exceptional circumstances.
If you anticipate a missed payment, or a payment is missed, you are expected to contact us proactively at awaken@anchoringthelight.com and confirm the date the missed payment will be made.
If a payment is missed and we have not heard from you within 7 days, access to the programme — including all course material and live calls — will be suspended until the outstanding payment is received. Once payment is made, access will be reinstated.
Honouring your payment arrangement is honouring the commitment you have made to yourself and to this work. We thank you for your integrity.
3.3 Programme Access
Access to online programmes is provided for the period stated at the time of purchase. Anchoring the Light reserves the right to:
• Update, modify, or improve course content at any time
• Sell updated versions of programmes separately
• Remove or modify content that is no longer relevant or aligned with our offerings
No extensions to access periods are guaranteed unless explicitly offered by Anchoring the Light.
3.4 Content Privacy & Intellectual Property
All course content — including videos, audio, written materials, worksheets, and any other digital assets — is the intellectual property of Anchoring the Light and is for your personal use only.
You agree not to:
• Share your login credentials with others
• Download, copy, distribute, or reproduce any content
• Use course material professionally, in sessions with clients, or for any commercial purpose
• Teach or transmit course content to others in any format
Violations of this policy may result in immediate cancellation of access without refund and may be subject to legal action.

4.3 No Refunds or Early Cancellations
All ELC payments are final sale. No refunds, exchanges, or early cancellations are permitted, regardless of whether content has been accessed or live sessions attended.

4.4 Missed Payments
If a payment fails or is missed, access to the ELC — including all content and live sessions — may be suspended until payment is received. If we have not heard from you within 7 days of a missed payment, access will be suspended automatically.

4.5 Evolving Offerings
Anchoring the Light is committed to providing members with at minimum one monthly ceremonial gathering and a selection of online offerings and transmissions throughout the membership year. The specific nature, number, format, and facilitators of these offerings may evolve over time and are at the discretion of Anchoring the Light.
Additional content and offerings may be included where available and are subject to change at any time. Anchoring the Light does not guarantee access to all current or future offerings as part of the membership.
4.6 Email Communications
