WHY IS CHOCOLATE SACRED?
CACAO IS KNOW TO THE ANCIENT MAYAN CULTURE AS THE 'FOOD OF THE GODS.'
The active constituent in Cacao is called theobromine, and it also literally translates to the same ‘Food of the Gods’ in Ancient Latin.
It has been used for thousands of years in Ceremony and Ritual as a way of Connecting to the Sacred Plant Spirit of the Cacao, a higher source that can give us a greater perspective on life and help us to see our way creatively through challenges and change. During Wilka Suyu Ceremonies work with Cacao as in integrative practice and to invite in more Joy and Celebration to our lives.
Cacao is much more than just chocolate as we know it. It's one of the highest natural sources of calcium and magnesium in perfect ratios that are fully absorbable by the body. It also has a type of amino acid called PEA that is a pre-cursor to the happy brain chemical - serotonin.
Wilka Suyu Cacao Ceremonies takes us on a very deep and transformational Shamanic journey through the directions of the Ancient Chakana Medicine wheel, and through the 3 worlds of existence as they are known in the Andean Cosmology. The Inner world, The Physical world and the Upper world. Each direction reflecting the different aspects of our lives.
These worlds represent our psyches and while there is no one more important of the other, when all are integrated as one, we begin to truly realize our fullest potential.
With focused intention and awareness in Ceremony, working with the Spirit of Maestra Cacao as our ally, we can consciously explore our inner world, so that we are able to reach and access deep healing, revelation, integration and lasting transformation. At the same time remembering who we really are by returning to our purest essence. Tapping into that abounding and limitless source of joy and bliss that is our true nature and resides within us all!

SHAMANIC CACAO APPRENTICSHIP
The Shamanic fundamentals of this apprenticeship are rooted in the Ancient tradition of the Andean lineage and the Ancestral Medicine I have served since 2012, yet it does not belong to the Andes or to anyone.
The Medicine of Cacao has been used for eons by many cultures as a way to commune directly with the Spirit of this Sacred plant as a messenger of the Creator, to tap into the wisdom and Divine intelligence of the Universe as well as our own inner wisdom. To receive guidance, clarity, creative solutions and perhaps most importantly - to open our Hearts.
The Ceremonial and Shamanic practices I will share with you are the ones I have worked with and refined myself for years, working in very deep Ancestral Medicine space’s, because I believe that every Ceremonial space can and should be facilitated with that level of skill and care.
We will be joined by my Maestros in the Andes that will be sharing their incredible wisdom live from our Apus (Spirits of the Mountains) and Pachamama Peru to assist you to reach the deepest parts of yourself and your remembering.
We also have a faculty of impeccable guest teachers that have been chosen for their level and depth of experience in their modalities- to share only the most refined wisdom and experience with you.

Our Ceremonial Cacao, ‘Paititi Chuncho’ derives its name from the Ancient Incan legend of the Andes Mountains that speak of a mythical Golden City home to an Awakened civilisation. Some believe it be hidden in the depths of the jungle, some believe it to be purely a legend, while others know it is definitely not a mythical place.. at the very least the portal to reach Paititi resides right here in your Heart and can be accessed through the heart expanding Medicine of Mama Cacao.
‘Chuncho’ is the name given in the high Andean jungles to native, wild crafted Criolo Cacao beans. This area is home to countless temples believed to be the last refuge of the Inca.
Paititi Chuncho arrives to us from these Golden Temples of Peru, home to a particular frequency of Cacao that has the ability to open our hearts to manifesting our dreams & an awakened humanity.
